FAQ

The most common questions about buying, producers, and transporters.

We gathered the core answers here for anyone buying agricultural products, opening a producer shop, or declaring a transport route.

What is Farmora?

Farmora is a Greek marketplace for agricultural products — fresh vegetables, olive oil, honey, wine, dairy, and more. You buy directly from producers with secure payment and escrow.

Do I need a business to sell?

No. Farmer, beekeeper, olive oil producer — you can start right now without a business. If sales grow, we will guide you through the next steps.

How does transport work?

Transporters declare routes and buyers book a slot at checkout. Alternatively, the producer can self-deliver, offer farm pickup, or use a national courier.

When do I get paid as a producer?

3 days after delivery confirmation — if no dispute is opened. Faster than traditional marketplaces due to the perishable nature of fresh farm products.

What if the product is not as expected?

Write to hello@farmora.gr within the 3-day hold with your order number. Farmora assesses and mediates. Fresh agricultural products are not returnable if delivered correctly.

Is there a mobile app?

Farmora already works well from mobile and tablet browsers. Native mobile apps are part of the next rollout phase.

How support works

The same support channel covers orders, shop setup, and app access.

  • Transport cost is shown clearly before checkout.
  • Accepted products: agricultural, livestock, fishing, beekeeping — not mass-produced commercial goods.
  • Disputes and refund requests start through Farmora, not outside the platform.
